Here is a list of the current prices for the services we offer at Poppies Mobile Vet:

The above prices are inclusive of travel up to 25 km and consultation prices include a full health examination and nail clip.

  • Canine C5 $130
  • Canine C3 (Triennial) $100

  • Litter Vaccination + Microchip $100 ea

All vaccination costs include a full physical examination, nail clip and travel up to 25 km. A $10 discount applies for puppies and kittens.

  • Euthanasia Large Dog >30kg $200

All euthanasia prices include travel, sedation, catheter placement and a Paw Print Keepsake.

If multiple appointments are booked in a particular location (e.g. Glenwood, Hervey Bay, Childers) the travel cost will be divided between appointments.

All blood testing is submitted externally. This means results can take up to 48 hours. Only non-urgent blood testing is offered.

  • Mass Needle Aspiration Cytology $25

These costs are additional to a consultation cost and mass sampling is per lump sampled.

We offer the injectable heartworm prevention. This starts at $50 for a 3 month old puppy, up to $200 for dogs over 50kg.

Heartworm testing following a lapse in prevention is $50.

Cartrophen Injections start at $25 up to $45 and Beransa Injections start at $100 up to $130. These include travel up to 25km.

Cytopoint allergy injections are available in 4 sizes ranging from $120 to $150. Dogs over 40kg will require combination doses and the price will include both doses.

At this stage I am not offering the Bravecto Quantum annual flea and tick prevention injection due to low demand and cost constraints.

Medication costs vary depending on the medication used. However, most medications will have a $15 dispensing fee attached to cover the costs of labelling, containers and preparation. A range of medications are kept on hand, however, some may need to be ordered in, which can take over 24 hours. Please notify at least 2 days in advance if you require medication to allow time for ordering.
